About Louise

Distant_Sea_Photography_Rahotu_Sanctuary

For over three decades, I've had the honour of collaborating with thousands of brides to bring their dream gown to life.

My deep love for timeless design, luxury fabrics, and intricate handmade detailing has shaped my approach – creating heirloom pieces that uniquely celebrate each bride and their story.

After the Christchurch earthquakes, I took the opportunity to explore other interests but continue to  work on a small number of commissioned couture gowns per year. I'd love to hear from brides that are interested in an intimate process that results in a unique and quality piece of art  that is a treasure to wear for the celebration of their love.

What Clients Say

"Having my wedding dress made to measure by Louise was magical experience- From visiting her fabulous showroom, set in the beautiful hills of Tai Tapu to trying on her amazing designs and finding my dream wedding gown. Her designs are exquisitely beautiful and original, and can easily compete with any of the top couture designers in Europe or America. Louise really listened to the style of wedding we were having and what style of dress I would like and she knew which dresses would complement this style, my figure and skin tone. I instantly fell in love with the design I chose and I knew it was the perfect dress for me. I loved how my dress had a unique vintage quality like treasured, couture heirloom, designed and made with attention to the finest details. I could not find this unique quality anywhere else.
